Duties Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges while handling cash, credit cards, and digital payments with precision. Deliver outstanding customer service by assisting shoppers with product questions, offering recommendations, and conducting engaging product demos. Maintain organized merchandising displays and ensure shelves are stocked with fresh inventory to maximize sales opportunities. Perform stocking duties regularly to keep the sales floor tidy and well-supplied, supporting overall store presentation. Upsell related products and accessories to enhance customer satisfaction and increase store revenue. Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely. Support grocery store operations by managing inventory levels, conducting basic retail math for pricing accuracy, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Supervise or assist in supervising team members during shifts to ensure efficient store functioning and excellent customer interactions. Experience Prior experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn! Bilingual skills are a plus for serving diverse customer needs effectively. Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and retail math enhances your ability to succeed in this role. Supervising experience is advantageous for those interested in leadership development within the team.
