Duties Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system to process sales quickly and accurately while handling cash, credit, and mobile payments. Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions, offering product demos, and guiding shoppers through their selections. Assist with merchandising tasks such as stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring products are well-presented to attract customers. Conduct upselling by suggesting complementary products or promotions to enhance sales opportunities. Maintain proper cash handling procedures, including balancing registers at shift end and managing cash discrepancies professionally. Engage in effective phone etiquette when taking orders or providing information over the phone. Support inventory management by participating in stock counts and ensuring the sales floor remains tidy and inviting. Requirements Previous experience with POS systems and cashiering is highly preferred. Supervising experience or leadership skills are a plus for those interested in growth opportunities within the team. Bilingual abilities are advantageous for serving diverse customer needs effectively. Strong communication skills to interact confidently with customers and team members. Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately and performing retail math calculations. Proven customer service experience in retail or grocery store environments.
