Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and friendly Cashier/Customer Service professional to join our retail team! Responsibilities Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process transactions swiftly and securely Greet customers warmly, providing excellent customer service and addressing inquiries with professionalism Manage cash handling duties with precision, including giving correct change and balancing cash drawers at shift end Assist customers with product demos, upselling relevant items to enhance their shopping experience Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring products are well-presented Support inventory management through stock replenishment and basic grocery store operations Uphold phone etiquette standards when answering inquiries or assisting customers over the phone Skills Proven experience in cashiering, retail sales, or customer service roles in a grocery or retail environment Strong communication skills with the ability to engage bilingual customers effectively Familiarity with POS systems and retail math for accurate transactions and inventory tracking Demonstrated supervising experience or ability to assist in team coordination when needed Ability to perform basic math quickly and accurately for cash handling and sales calculations Knowledge of merchandising, stocking procedures, and product demos to promote sales opportunities Excellent phone etiquette skills combined with a friendly, approachable demeanor Join our team where your enthusiasm fuels a lively shopping environment!
