Insurance Representative (English/Spanish)

Position Overview:

The Insurance Representative handles insurance certificates, including requests, processing, and updates like cancellations or endorsements, while managing account insurance from signing to lease payoff. They assess insurance risks that may impact lease obligations and ensure a positive customer experience when working with internal and external partners.

Responsibilities:

Contact customers regarding Insurance renewals, rewrites, cancellations, DOT changes, etc. Request and process renewal certificates and endorsements needed from insurance agents, motor carriers, and customers Maintain urgent follow-up and follow-through for revisions and endorsements Use asset location tools to confirm the whereabouts of each truck and diligently monitor each situation if proper insurance is not on file Communicate with internal partners regarding insurance issues that could lead to negative exposure for the company Educate customer on insurance requirements and coverage options Notate all conversations with the customer and maintain adequate supporting documentation Aid fellow departments in obtaining information from customers

Qualifications:

Certification in any insurance area is preferred Demonstrated track record of strong customer service, coaching, teaching, training or related fields Comfortable delivering difficult news, de-escalating conversations, and making decisions Experienced in conflict resolution and addressing uncomfortable situations Excellent written and oral communication skills Ability to stay organized, to produce timely and have accurate results in high-integration environment. Able to incorporate the big picture, not just the issue at hand Adept at identifying errors on certificates of insurance and endorsements Eager to communicate with Insurance Agents and Motor Carriers to obtain required documentation 2+ years of experience with various Microsoft Office applications Ability to handle large renewal volume with speed and accuracy (hundreds of certificates at a time) Enjoys collaborating with associates to solve problems Effectively and respectfully holds customers accountable Comfortable persuading customer through negotiation and influence Extremely organized - able to produce timely and accurate results in high-interruption environment Lone Mountain Truck Leasing is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
