Service Advisor

Overview Grinnell Motors is seeking an individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and who shares the belief that taking care of the customer beyond their expectations is the number one priority. Responsibilities Greet customers and check-in vehicles in a timely manner, with a positive attitude Advise customers on the care & value of maintaining their vehicles in accordance with manufacturers' specifications Write work orders according to customer requests or concerns, warranty or diagnosis If additional work or parts are needed, explain the details to the customer, including the additional cost and time consideration Maintain a high Customer Satisfaction Index rating Follow up on the progress of each repair order throughout the day; contact the customer regarding changes in the estimate or time promised Keep Service Manager informed of all issues & potential problems involving repairs, customers & equipment Effectively communicate with customers to build relationships Be able to organize and prioritize workload and required forms or documents, and file accordingly Ability to understand and follow instructions. Constant communication with technicians, other advisors, and parts department regarding scheduling for the service department

Requirements/ Qualifications:

Previous Dealership experience is preferred

Education Requirement:

High School or Equivalent Proficient in Windows, Microsoft Office and Dealer Specific DMS/CRM Excellent verbal/written communication, interpersonal skills Professional appearance Must be willing to learn new processes and follow procedures Reliable transportation Join us in delivering outstanding automotive care! Pay:

$40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
