8:00am-5:00pm QPS Employment Group is hiring a Customer Order Specialist for a company in Waterloo, IA. This is an associate to hire opportunity. Customer Order Specialist Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Answer inbound customer phone calls regarding orders, returns, shipments, delivery status, complaints, and warranty requests
  • Enter customer orders into the computer system accurately and efficiently
  • Review customer files and previous orders to validate new order details
  • Verify order specifications to ensure they meet manufacturing requirements
  • Process Return Goods Authorizations (RGAs) for returned products, credits, incorrect shipments, or warranty items
  • Assist with initial warranty review and coordinate with engineering for product analysis
  • Support outside sales representatives by entering orders and coordinating customer requests within assigned territories
  • Gather customer specifications and pricing details to prepare accurate quotations
  • Make outbound calls to return customer inquiries, solicit freight quotes, and assist with customer follow-up as time allows
Customer Order Specialist Requirements:
  • Previous customer service, sales support, order entry, or administrative experience preferred
  • Strong communication and phone skills
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities
  • Attention to detail and accuracy with order entry and customer information
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable working with customers, internal teams, and sales representatives
  • Ability to sit and work at a desk for extended periods
  • Ability to use a computer, phone, and office equipment throughout the shift
  • Equipment used includes computer, phone system, office software, and internal order systems
