Description:

The Customer Service Representative (CSR) serves as a key customer-facing support role, responsible for managing customer orders from initial entry through final delivery. This position ensures accurate processing, timely communication, and a seamless experience throughout the order lifecycle Responsibilities Process and verify customer purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and alignment with internal and external requirements. Coordinate the expediting of products to meet customer expectations and delivery timelines. Communicate schedule updates and changes to both internal teams and external customers, based on customer input and evolving needs. Collaborate with sales, production, and other cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve customer issues. Monitor order status throughout the production cycle and proactively notify customers of any variances. Process product returns resulting from incorrect or damaged items and ensure proper resolution. Provide ongoing problem-solving support to customers, maintaining a high level of responsiveness and service quality. Build and maintain strong customer relationships, with a focus on quality, reliability, and on-time delivery. Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned to support team and business objectives.

Requirements:

2 years previous experience with customer service responsibilities, preferably in a manufacturing environment Experience working for a Build to Print Contract Manufacture highly desirable Experience working in the electrical industry, electrical wire harness or panel industry is preferred Experience working for a Commercial OEM, Electrical or Electronics Distributor, Manufacturer's Representative, Systems Integrator or Wire Manufacturer is a plus Familiarity with using ERP systems for quoting or order processing is beneficial Must have strong communication skills to communicate with other team members and customers Must have positive attitude with customer appreciation mentality Ability to lift 50lbs as needed Ability to stand, sit, and perform repetitive work for long periods of time Highly organized with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment Attention to detail with the ability to problem solve Operate with a sense of teamwork Timberline Manufacturing is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
