This position is responsible for acting as the first point of contact for Equifax Mortgage customers. Our customers are mortgage professionals seeking assistance with our services offered. We respond to inbound customer/consumer email and telephone inquiries regarding credit reports, other products/services, order status, and general questions. A successful Customer Service Representative will be able to drive customer satisfaction by accepting ownership for effectively solving customer inquiries. What you'll do Manage a high volume of inbound calls and emails in a timely manner. Engage directly with customers and achieve customer satisfaction by going the extra step. Research questions about submitted orders. Assist customers through the ordering process and navigating ordering system. Identify and solve problems that occur within scope of work. Perform data entry tasks to fulfill customer orders. What experience you need High school diploma or equivalent. 1+ years of Customer Service experience. Strong emphasis on collaboration and team building. Ability to deal with people in a professional and courteous manner. Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills. Creative problem resolution skills utilizing established options. Taking on extra assignments that might involve learning new things and developing skills. Understanding of PC functions, and ability to learn/understand internal Verification Services technology/systems. In office Monday - Friday 10:30AM to 7:00PM and pay is $20/hour. Training hours will vary. What could set you apart Experience with Google-based applications. Experience in a high volume processing center. Knowledge of consumer credit. Knowledge of the mortgage industry. Ability to adapt to change.
