Job Description
Customer Service Representative Steelhead Metal Corp Precision Sheet Metal Fabrication Machining Powder Coating Steelhead Metal Corp is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our growing manufacturing team. This position plays a critical role in supporting our customers and ensuring projects move smoothly from quoting through delivery. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, possess excellent communication skills, and have the ability to manage multiple customer projects simultaneously over extended timelines. Key Responsibilities Receive and process customer Requests for Quote (RFQs) Prepare and distribute quotations to customers Process customer purchase orders accurately and efficiently Facilitate placing orders for outside services Handle customer inquiries regarding orders, schedules, and project status Process customer returns and support resolution of issues Track customer projects from order receipt through shipment Create and communicate weekly status reports to customers Facilitate clear communication between customers and internal departments Work extensively within customer-owned portals and online systems Maintain organized records and documentation related to customer projects Support on-time delivery and high customer satisfaction Qualifications Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational and multitasking abilities High attention to detail and accuracy Ability to manage and track long-term projects Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word Comfortable learning and navigating multiple customer portals and software systems Manufacturing or industrial experience preferred Experience with ERP systems is a plus What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who is: Professional and customer-focused Dependable and self-motivated Able to prioritize and manage deadlines Comfortable working with customers, production teams, and management Driven to provide exceptional customer service in a manufacturing environment About Steelhead Metal Corp Steelhead Metal Corp is an Idaho-based precision manufacturing company specializing in precision sheet metal fabrication, machining, and powder coating services.
