Opportunity:
A well-established Chicagoland organization is seeking a Customer Service Clerk to join its onsite team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working directly with customers, managing administrative processes, and providing compassionate support in a professional environment. This opportunity is best suited for someone who is personable, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling a combination of customer service, billing support, and administrative responsibilities in a fast-paced setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle customer inquiries and service requests both in person and over the phone Process invoices, payments, and service-related documentation Maintain accurate records through data entry and administrative tracking Assist with sales and service support functions Support customers through sensitive or emotionally charged situations with professionalism and empathy Coordinate paperwork, inventory tracking, and general office support duties Assist clients with on-site service coordination as needed
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in customer service, sales support, or administrative roles Strong communication skills with the ability to de-escalate and problem solve Comfortable discussing billing, payments, and service-related fees Detail-oriented with strong organizational and data entry skills Professional and personable demeanor Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required Bilingual Spanish and/or Polish is a plus
Preferred Background:
Experience in retail, healthcare, hospitality, or other customer-facing environments Experience handling sensitive customer interactions Familiarity with administrative office procedures and systems
Additional Details:
100% onsite role in the
South Suburbs of Chicago Schedule:
