Job Description

Director of Private Client Advisory Services Kirby Wealth Management Group is seeking an experienced Director of Private Client Advisory Services to serve as a senior, planning‑focused advisor for high‑net‑worth individuals and business owners. This role is heavily client‑facing and technical, working directly on advanced tax, estate, and business growth and succession planning. It is ideal for a motivated professional eager to make a meaningful impact by guiding high-net-worth individuals through their most important financial decisions while leading a talented advisory team toward excellence. Salary is commensurate with experience. Key Responsibilities Lead complex client planning engagements involving tax, estate, trust, and business succession strategies Advise high‑net‑worth clients on sophisticated planning issues and long‑term wealth strategies Analyze and apply tax law, estate planning structures, and business entities to real‑world client situations Proactively identify planning opportunities as client circumstances evolve Collaborate with CPAs, attorneys, and other external advisors to implement strategies Clearly communicate complex concepts in a practical, client‑friendly manner Maintain strong organization across planning workflows, documentation, and timelines Qualifications
CPA, CFP
®, or JD required (active license preferred) 7+ years of experience in wealth management, public accounting, tax, estate planning, or a related field Significant experience working directly with clients on advanced planning matters Strong technical knowledge of individual and business taxation, estate and gift planning, and succession planning Strong written and verbal communication skills Leadership qualities that inspire teams
