The ideal candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for customers seeking vehicle maintenance and repair services, ensuring a seamless experience from initial consultation to service completion. This role requires a strong understanding of automotive systems, excellent communication skills, and the ability to upsell additional services while maintaining high customer satisfaction. Prior dealership experience and automotive service management skills are highly valued. Duties Greet customers promptly and professionally, assessing their vehicle service needs. Explain recommended repairs and maintenance services clearly, providing accurate auto estimating. Write detailed service orders and communicate effectively with technicians regarding vehicle issues. Upsell additional services such as oil changes, tire rotations, alignments, brake repairs, suspension work, and transmission services. Coordinate with mechanics and technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs. Handle customer inquiries regarding vehicle diagnostics, repair status, and billing. Manage cash handling transactions accurately and efficiently. Maintain detailed records of all customer interactions and service histories. Promote automotive repair services including diesel engine repair, auto body repair, air brake systems, shocks & struts, and other specialized repairs. Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by providing exceptional service and follow-up. Experience Prior dealership experience or auto service background preferred. Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics, mechanical systems, and vehicle maintenance procedures. Experience in auto estimating, service writing, and sales within an automotive environment. Familiarity with automotive repairs such as oil changes, brake repair, tire service, alignment, suspension work, and transmission repairs. Background in mechanic work or service technician roles is advantageous. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to upsell services effectively. Proven ability to handle cash transactions accurately and professionally.
