Job Description:
At Oasis Outdoors, we strive to create a family-like atmosphere for our team, and our customers. We have built a reputation for having the highest-quality repair services available. Our dedicated Technicians provide exceptional workmanship and superior client service. The Service Writer is responsible for selling and promoting all products and services offered by Oasis Outdoors RV by following the dealership standards and expectations.
Essential Role and Responsibilities:
Customer Intake:
Greet customers, listen to RV issues, and accurately document repair/maintenance requests on Work Orders.
Estimate & Sales:
Provide accurate time and cost estimates for repairs, upsell preventative maintenance, and promote dealership products.
Technician Coordination:
Communicate customer needs to the technicians and track the status of jobs to ensure deadlines are met.
Warranty Administration:
Verify warranty coverage, submit claims to manufacturers, and communicate approvals/denials.
Customer Updates:
Keep clients apprised of repair progress, explain technical issues, and handle vehicle walkthroughs at pickup.
Preferred Qualifications & Requirements:
Education:
High school diploma or GED; technical training or post-secondary education is a plus.
Experience:
1-2 years in customer service, sales, or service writing in the RV, automotive, or powersports industries.
Skills:
Excellent communication, ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency with dealership management software and computers.
Industry Knowledge:
Familiarity with RV systems (plumbing, electrical, appliances) and camping lifestyles is highly preferred.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent Prior experience as a Service Advisor is preferred.
