Full-Time We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Purchasing & Customer Service Representative to support a growing manufacturing organization serving the aviation industry. This role combines purchasing, vendor relations, customer service, and administrative responsibilities. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, comfortable working with technology, and capable of building strong relationships with vendors and internal teams to ensure materials and information flow efficiently throughout the organization. Key Responsibilities Communicate with vendors via phone and email regarding material orders, pricing, availability, and delivery schedules. Request, review, and compare vendor quotations to support purchasing decisions. Negotiate pricing and purchasing terms with suppliers when appropriate. Create and process purchase orders accurately and efficiently. Track and maintain records of purchased materials, inventory, and vendor information. Prepare reports, documentation, and purchasing records for management and production teams. Answer incoming phone calls and direct inquiries appropriately. Enter, update, and maintain data within company software systems and databases. Coordinate with production, management, and other departments to support operational needs. Ensure purchasing documentation is accurate, complete, and organized. Maintain effective communication with vendors, customers, and internal stakeholders. Demonstrate accountability, integrity, and ownership of assigned responsibilities. Contribute to process improvements and support organizational growth initiatives. Skills & Experience Previous experience in purchasing, procurement, customer service, administrative support, or a related office environment. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in basic mathematical calculations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and price comparisons. Experience creating and maintaining records, reports, and documentation. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with team members and management. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Preferred Qualifications Experience negotiating with vendors and managing supplier relationships. Knowledge of purchasing, procurement, inventory, or supply chain processes. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, and Word. Experience using ERP systems, purchasing software, or other business management platforms. Familiarity with office equipment including printers, copiers, and scanners. Work Environment Positions available on 1st shift . Professional office environment within a manufacturing facility. Frequent interaction with vendors, customers, production personnel, and management. Regular use of computers, software applications, telephones, printers, copiers, and scanners.
