Job Description

Field Service Representative Position Summary The Field Service Representative is responsible for supporting field service operations by coordinating technician schedules, maintaining accurate service records, and serving as a key point of contact for customers and internal teams. This role helps ensure service activities are properly documented, communicated, and completed efficiently to support customer satisfaction and accurate billing. Key Responsibilities Coordinate and maintain schedules for field service technicians and service managers Monitor service work orders and ensure all job documentation is complete and accurate Serve as a point of contact for customer inquiries, updates, and service-related escalations Communicate scheduling changes and job status updates to customers and internal stakeholders Support billing processes by verifying service records, labor hours, and job completion details Track open service requests and follow up to ensure timely resolution Maintain accurate records within ERP, CRM, and service management systems Collaborate with service, sales, operations, and billing teams to support business objectives Assist with reporting, data entry, and continuous process improvement initiatives Qualifications Previous experience in service coordination, dispatching, field service administration, or customer support Strong organizational and multitasking skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Experience working with ERP, CRM, or service management software Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy Preferred Experience Manufacturing, industrial, construction, equipment, or field service industry experience Experience supporting technicians, service managers, or mobile workforces Knowledge of work order management, scheduling, and billing processes
