In time, the business has grown to 26 gas station/convenience store locations throughout the Chicago area suburbs including Munster Indiana. Our goal is to provide the utmost customer satisfaction by providing quality customer service and products to the communities we serve. In that, we are looking for quality customer service representatives to join our Company to be a part of our team.
Position Title:
Customer Service Representative (CSR)
Job Description:
Safely operate and work the gas station/convenience store in a manner which will provide our customers courteous, prompt and friendly service to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service Representatives (CSR) are the key component of company store operations. They must be able and willing to follow direction as provided by supervisors. They must understand that their conduct sets an example for the staff and can undermine or encourage support of the company policy. Being able to manage their time and complete all tasks assigned sets the right tone for all employees. Problem solving and Customer Service are a high priority for all CSR's. Difficulties can be avoided by adhering closely to all policy manuals and procedures outlined in the Employee Handbook and the Procedure Manual provide to all employees.
  • Greet and thank every customer to enhance the customer experience
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints
  • Maintain and demonstrate positive customer relations
  • Run cash register, lotto machine, fuel dispensers, etc.
  • Process transactions for the customer
  • Maintain store cleanliness inside and out, stocking, store layouts and displays
  • Provide a proactive attitude in-store promotions and sponsorships
  • Maintain personal appearance by adhering to the Company dress code policy
  • Adhere to company policies by being a positive role model and maintaining a positive attitude as a team member with Graham C-Stores Company ​
Skills/Qualifications:
  • Previous retail experience preferred
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, memos, and the ability to write simple correspondence is required
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations with customers, vendors and other employees of the Company
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Ability to understand and complete multiple step instructions. To deal with a variety of unexpected and/or adverse situations
  • Ability to stand 5 hours
  • Ability to carry, move or lift up to 50 pounds ​
Requirements:
  • Required to pass a background check and drug screening
