Full Time We are seeking a Service Advisor to join our team. As a Service Advisor, you will act as the liaison between customers and our service technicians, ensuring excellent customer service and efficient vehicle maintenance. This is a commission based role and the earning potential is significant.
What You'll Do:
Greet customers and assist them with their service needs Provide accurate estimates for automotive services and repairs Upsell products and services Schedule service appointments and follow up with customers on their vehicle status Communicate effectively with service technicians to ensure timely completion of work Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records Recommend additional services based on vehicle inspections Maintain a clean and organized service area
Skills Needed:
Strong mechanical knowledge to accurately assess vehicle issues Tekion DMS knowledge is preferred but not essential. Excellent customer service skills to build rapport with clients Proficiency in automotive sales to promote services effectively Ability to handle cash transactions and maintain financial records Experience in auto estimating for accurate service quotes Familiarity with tire services and oil changes Previous experience in a dealership setting is a plus Service technician background is beneficial for understanding repair processes
