Job Description
Customer service representative will provide information to customers in response to inquiries about products and services, in addition to entering orders and resolving any issues.
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Entering orders received by fax, email or phone.
- Respond to customers via emails, over the phone, or face to face
- Listen to the customer inquiries patiently and resolve. Respond to the customer promptly
- Draft necessary documents, reports, letter or statements, as required by the customer
- Maintain records of interactions with the customers in an orderly manner
- Coordinate with internal departments to find solutions and resolve matters
- Follow up with the customer to make sure any issues have been resolved and they are satisfied with your answer
- Forwarding any quote requests to Sales
- Bridge the gap between sales/customer/production in any way necessary
- Acting as an operator and dispatching phone calls to individuals as requested
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or Associate/Bachelor's degree with 2 - 3 years of related experience
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service
- Computer skills and knowledge of relevant software (Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook Mail, and PalMate)
- Knowledge of operation of standard office equipment
Working Conditions:
- Hours of work are 7:00 am. to 3:00 p.m., with a half hour lunch
- Full - Time employment
- Overtime as needed
