Service Advisor

The successful Service Advisor candidate must be able to demonstrate strong sales and the highest commitment for customer satisfaction. We are looking for a tech-savvy individual with great organizational and communication skills as well as a strong work ethic. In this role, your goal is to assist our customers (both internal and external) with all of their service needs, while creating an overall positive experience. The Service Advisor is responsible for building strong customer relationships and selling the technicians' time. They greet and consult customers on service needs, perform a thorough vehicle walk around inspection as part of the write-up, sell and up sell services by emphasizing value, keep customers updated on services, field all live service calls, and take ownership of the customers experience by carrying out those additional assignments that allow the dealership to leave an impressionable experience with the customer. Job Duties Ensure that customers receive prompt, courteous, and effective service Drive the sale of technicians' time to meet departments sales forecast Prioritize required services, and be prepared to provide options upon request Keep customer informed on completion times, service expenses, and possible changes Ensure customer has a positive dealership experience Know the product well enough to answer characteristic and operational questions regarding the customer's vehicle Qualifications and Skills Ability to optimize customer experience Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Self-motivated and a strong desire to succeed Goal and solutions-oriented Ability to adapt, learn and execute in a fast-paced team environment Great organizational skills Ability to multi-task Understanding of vehicle systems and operations Computer skills/knowledge Valid driver's license and good driving record
