Position Overview As an Order Entry / Customer Service Representative, you will be the critical link between our customers and our production floor. You will accurately enter and manage customer orders, serve as a key point of contact for order-related questions, and coordinate across departments to ensure every job moves smoothly from order to delivery. Key Responsibilities Enter customer orders accurately and promptly into Sage Intacct, verifying part numbers, quantities, pricing, and delivery dates. Serve as a primary point of contact for customers via phone and email, answering questions on order status, lead times, and pricing. Coordinate with sales, production, and shipping teams to keep orders on schedule and resolve any issues. Review purchase orders for completeness and follow up on missing or unclear information. Maintain accurate customer records, order history, and account details. Communicate order changes, delays, or backorders to customers proactively and professionally. Assist with quotes, order acknowledgments, and other administrative tasks as needed. Accurately complete order documentation and related records. Qualifications 1-3 years of experience in order entry, customer service, inside sales, or a related administrative role. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Comfortable working with ERP/accounting systems (experience with Sage Intacct is a strong plus) and standard office software. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment while managing multiple priorities. Experience in manufacturing, machining, or a related industrial environment is a plus.
