Job Description As a Security Officer Customer Service Patrol in Shawnee, KS , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. AM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or patients by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and emergency response support appropriate to the location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or security-related concerns. Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help control access, verify credentials, and report unauthorized activity in accordance with site policies. Support healthcare location operations by assisting with directions, de-escalation when appropriate, and timely reporting of hazards, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations.
Minimum Requirements:
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
