Job Description

Job Summary:
Hourly position dedicated to providing exceptional customer service, detailed communications, and accurate data entry. Responsible for real time coordination to ensure punctual trip fulfillment. Maintains accurate and updated customer profiles. Understands and applies rules and regulations when building trips for customers. References current information and gives recommendations regarding BGCAP services.

Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for maintaining a professional positive work attitude toward the agency, customers, and field/office work environment. This includes always maintaining a professional image and leading by example. 2. When conducting dispatching duties, ensure the cost-effective utilization of all BGCAP resources. Secure timely and efficient fulfillment of daily trips while providing effective communication during all aspects of operations. Successfully navigate stressful situations while remaining calm and professional. 3. Accurately input customer trips for new and existing customers. Verify all customer addresses, contact information, and Medicaid eligibility before completing a trip reservation. Inform customers of their responsibilities under Medicaid and assist them in obtaining all documentation needed for trips. 4. Responsible for promptly answering and routing customer transportation requests and needs utilizing BGCAP resources and available tools. 5. Have a complete understanding of BGCAP Transit customer services and provide exceptional customer service to drivers, staff, riders, escorts, and medical facilities in line with the BGCAP Mission Statement. 6. Coordinate with other Transportation staff in arranging efficient and effective scheduling of Medicaid and Public Transportation, including modifications as needed. 7. Proficient in transitioning between revolving daily duties. 8. Effective conflict resolution capabilities to ensure calls are productive. 9. Operate multiple computer monitors and programs throughout the day.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Two (2) years of Superior Customer Service and/or general office experience. Basic knowledge of operations area. Exceptional telephone skills, strong computer skills, and data entry skills are necessary.
