Job Description

Patient Support + Order Processing Midsouth Medical, Inc. is seeking a reliable, customer-focused Medical Customer Service Representative to support patients receiving medical equipment and supplies . This role is essential in delivering timely service, accurate order processing, and compliant documentation while working closely with patients, providers, and case managers. Key Responsibilities Verify patient information, eligibility/coverage, and track approvals (as applicable) Request, collect, and track required documentation from provider offices, patients, and case managers Enter orders, notes, and supporting documents accurately in internal systems (Brightree) Communicate professionally with patients and healthcare partners by phone and email Maintain HIPAA-compliant, audit-ready documentation and clear, detailed account notes Identify and resolve order issues in a timely manner and escalate when appropriate Follow department workflows and contribute to ongoing process improvements Qualifications Strong phone etiquette and customer service skills Excellent written and verbal communication Accurate data entry skills with high attention to detail Strong organization and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Healthcare, DME, insurance, or medical office experience preferred Experience using Brightree or similar systems a plus What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is professional, dependable, and service-driven.
