Duties Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges while maintaining cash handling integrity. Greet customers warmly, answer questions, and assist with product locations or recommendations. Upsell related items or promotions to enhance customer satisfaction and increase store revenue. Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring products are well-presented. Manage inventory by assisting with stock replenishment and conducting regular stock checks. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries via phone or in person with professionalism and courtesy. Skills Proficiency with POS systems and basic retail math for accurate cash handling and transactions. Previous supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership in team settings. Ability to perform product demos confidently and educate customers about features. Bilingual skills are highly valued to serve a diverse customer base effectively. Strong phone etiquette for handling inquiries professionally over the phone. Experience in upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities. Knowledge of merchandising, stocking procedures, and retail sales strategies within a grocery store environment. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage with customers and team members seamlessly.
