In this energetic role, you will be the first point of contact, ensuring a positive shopping experience through excellent customer service, efficient cashiering, and engaging product interactions. Your enthusiasm and communication skills will help drive sales, promote store offerings, and maintain a welcoming environment for all shoppers. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop retail expertise while making a meaningful impact on our customers' day. Duties Operate the L-Boss system accurately to process transactions swiftly and securely Greet customers warmly, answer their questions , and provide product demos when appropriate Handle cash, credit card payments , and other forms of payment with precision and integrity Assist with merchandising tasks such as stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring products are well-presented Upsell additional items or services to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales opportunities Maintain excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or providing support over the phone Support inventory management by participating in stock counts and product replenishment efforts Qualifications Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse customers, including bilingual proficiency is a plus Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and performing retail math calculations Familiarity with L-Boss systems, cash handling procedures, and grocery store operations is advantageous Demonstrated ability to supervise or lead team members during shifts is a bonus Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work in a fast-paced environment Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills to ensure positive interactions at all times Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to delivering exceptional shopping experiences.
