This is not a seasonal summer job.
SCHEDULE IS NOT NEGOTIABLE. 1
00PM-7:00PM on Mondays. OFF Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. 11:00AM -7:00PM on Fridays. 1:00PM-7:00PM on Saturdays. 8:00AM-1:30PM on Sundays . Paw Plaza is open 365 days a year; we work holidays and weekends. Our organization moves at a fast pace throughout our day. We stand up to greet every customer with a smile and our full attention. We move for most of our shift escorting dogs, often speed-walking through our building , and earning approximately 10,000 steps per shift. we are up and down out of our seat all day long. Every team member cleans and completes physical duties; our facility is cleaner than an operating room. Our customers are fabulous! We love them and they love us. We go out of our way to make Paw Plaza an excellent, efficient, and easy experience for both our human and dog customers. Does this position sound perfect for you?
Our best candidates:
MUST HAVE
at least 8 YEARS of CONSISTENT and
CONSECUTIVE
work experience. At least a high school diploma, college preferred. At least 18 years old. Mature adult who dislikes and discourages workplace gossip, drama, and immaturity. Dynamic peer leader who demonstrates and promotes high team morale. Proof of prior supervisory/management experience. Excellent skills in customer service, service recovery, and communications in-person, phone, and written. Understand the value of, and demonstrate good communication and teamwork. Confident to work independently and make decisions on your own following your training. Manage daily operations; ensuring a smooth workflow. Must be self-motivated and self-directed. This is a fairly solitary role; customers are your only social interaction. Must talk to animals. MUST be able to clean up dog poop, dog urine, and dog vomit.

Can you pop up from your chair, greet a customer, speed walk down a 100ft hallway, descend a set of stairs, and then come right back up bringing a dog to their owner? Can you do this potentially 20 times in an afternoon?
