We are looking for an Assistant Service Manager (ASM) who can help run the daily flow of our service department, support the Service Manager, communicate with customers, sell needed repairs, help with parts, keep technicians moving, and help build one of the leading EV and hybrid service hubs in New England. This is not just a service advisor job. This is for someone who wants to be part of a service movement. We are the headquarters of a growing national franchise concept focused on EVs, hybrids, plug-ins, Tesla service, battery diagnostics, battery repair, and next-generation vehicle service . We sell and service EVs, hybrids, plug-ins, and fuel-efficient vehicles. Our service department specializes in the latest cutting edge technology in service, diagnostics and next-generation vehicle maintenance. We are not just trying to be another dealership. We are building the dealership and service department of the future. What You'll Do Assist the Service Manager with daily department operations Help manage the service schedule and keep the shop flowing Write repair orders and communicate clearly with customers Sell recommended service, diagnostics, tires, brakes, maintenance, EV/hybrid repairs, and related work Follow up on declined work, open estimates, parts delays, and unsold repairs Help coordinate parts ordering, parts tracking, returns, and technician updates Keep repair orders, customer communication, and workflow organized Help make sure vehicles move from check-in to diagnosis to estimate to repair to delivery Support technicians by helping remove bottlenecks Communicate with customers in a professional, trust-based way Help grow customer-pay service business Support Tesla, EV, hybrid, plug-in, battery diagnostic, and general service operations Help improve customer satisfaction, reviews, repeat business, and department performance Who You Are You may be a strong fit if you: Have dealership service advisor, assistant service manager, service writer, parts, BDC, or automotive sales experience Understand how a dealership service department works Are good at talking to customers and building trust Can sell needed work without being pushy Are organized and strong with follow-up Can help manage moving pieces, including customers, technicians, parts, estimates, and open repair orders Want to learn EVs, hybrids, plug-ins, Tesla service, and battery diagnostics Like a fast-paced environment Want your income and responsibility to grow with the company Are looking for more than a normal service counter job Why This Role Is Different Most service jobs are the same every day: oil changes, warranty work, tires, brakes, and factory maintenance. Schedule This position is:
Tuesday through Saturday You must be available to work Saturdays. Saturday is an important service and customer day for our business. Compensation This is a performance-driven role with strong upside.
Expected compensation:
