Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Site Manager to lead and oversee all operations at our distribution facility. This pivotal role involves managing supply chain activities, warehouse operations, The ideal candidate will excel in process improvement, team leadership, and strategic planning to optimize warehouse performance and support our company's growth objectives. As a Site Manager, you will be the driving force behind operational excellence, safety compliance, and customer satisfaction. Duties Oversee daily warehouse operations including shipping & receiving, order fulfillment, picking & packing, and materials handling to ensure timely and accurate processing of goods. Manage supply chain functions such as procurement, sourcing, demand planning, and category management to maintain optimal inventory levels. Coordinate transportation management activities including freight scheduling, transportation planning, fleet management, and working with third-party logistics providers (3PL) to ensure cost-effective delivery. Implement process improvements utilizing tools like ERP systems, Transportation Management Systems (TMS), Warehouse Management System (WMS), and CMMS to enhance operational efficiency. Supervise inventory management practices including inventory control, warehouse distribution, pricing strategies, and warehouse experience to reduce shrinkage and improve accuracy. Lead safety initiatives by ensuring compliance with safety protocols and conducting regular audits of the warehouse environment. Analyze logistics data using supply chain analytics to identify trends, forecast demand, and optimize sourcing strategies for e-commerce and other distribution channels. Experience Proven experience in operations management within a warehouse or distribution center environment with a strong background in supply chain management. Extensive knowledge of inventory management systems such as AS400 or similar ERP platforms. Hands-on experience with transportation management systems (TMS), freight coordination, dispatching, and fleet management. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), materials handling equipment like forklifts, packaging processes, and shipping & receiving procedures. Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools related to supply chain analytics for continuous process improvement. Knowledge of procurement practices including sourcing strategies and category management to support operational needs.
