Supply and Service Support Representative (SSSR)
Job Description:
Strategic Technology Institute is seeking a highly motivated Logistics and Sustainment Support Specialist to provide Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) to the 20th Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, and Explosives (CBRNE) Command's CBRNE Analytical and Remediation Activity (CARA), with a focus on the CARA Mobile Expeditionary Laboratory (CMEL). This position directly supports Counter-Weapons of Mass Destruction (CWMD) missions and globally deployable analytical laboratory operations. Key Responsibilities Provide end-to-end Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) for Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) equipment and Test, Measurement, and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE) supporting the CMEL mission. Plan, coordinate, and execute logistics activities to enable the operation, maintenance, and long-term sustainment of CMEL systems and associated equipment. Support acquisition logistics activities, including requirements identification, provisioning, spares planning, and life-cycle sustainment for CMEL equipment. Assist with the CMEL air monitoring program and other analytical service requirements, ensuring required equipment is available, calibrated, and mission-ready. Develop, maintain, and deliver logistics-related training and user support for CMEL operators and maintainers, to include documentation, job aids, and briefings. Track, manage, and report on equipment status, maintenance actions, and sustainment metrics to ensure operational readiness in support of deployed and contingency operations. Coordinate with government stakeholders to support deployment, movement, and redeployment of CMEL equipment in support of combatant commanders and other government agencies. Support the development and execution of a Quality Control Plan (QCP), including procedures to identify, prevent, and correct non-conforming services in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS). Implement and maintain procedures for the control and accountability of incidental property, in alignment with government and contract requirements. Prepare required reports, logs, and documentation to demonstrate compliance with performance standards and support audits, inspections, and reviews.
Job Requirements:
Experience providing logistics, sustainment, or CLS support to military, DoD, or federal programs, preferably in a deployable or expeditionary environment. Familiarity with COTS equipment, TMDE, and/or laboratory or analytical systems (field, mobile, or theater-level). Demonstrated experience in one or more of the following: acquisition logistics, supply support, maintenance planning, technical data, training development, or sustainment planning. Ability to interpret and work from Performance Work Statements (PWS), technical manuals, and OEM documentation. Strong organizational and documentation skills, with the ability to track multiple systems, actions, and deadlines. Proficiency with standard office and logistics tracking tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel, databases, or maintenance/logistics information systems). Ability to work independently without direct government supervision in a performance-based, non-personal services environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience interacting with government customers and multi-disciplinary teams. Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance Preferred Qualifications Prior experience supporting CBRNE, CWMD, EOD, or specialized Army/Joint units. Experience with mobile/expeditionary laboratory operations, air monitoring programs, or analytical instrumentation sustainment. Prior military service or direct support to Army units, especially 20th CBRNE or similar organizations. Experience supporting or implementing Quality Control Plans (QCPs) on performance-based service contracts. Work Environment and Expectations May require occasional
CONUS/OCONUS
travel in support of training, exercises, or operational deployments, as directed by the Government. May involve work in laboratory, warehouse, and field environments, including austere or contingency locations. This is a non-personal services position; contractor personnel are responsible for their own performance and shall not represent or be supervised as government employees in accordance with
FAR 37.104.
