Job Summary:
The Policyholder Services Representative is responsible for providing high levels of customer service by answering all incoming calls regarding billing issues for both insureds and agents; documenting billing notes in the system in a timely manner; and recording written requests from policyholders for changes to name and/or address. Essential Duties Documents all incoming calls as illustrated by the following: Takes necessary action to correct the problem, answers the question, or determines the person or department to which the transaction should be referred Addresses all billing issues and questions, such as taking the payment, verifying payment due date, verifying payments made, and updating revolving payment information. Forwards written requests from policyholders for changes in name and/or address (i.e., reviews requests) to the agent to process Sends request changes to the proper department Prints copy Sends to the agency affected by the change
Basic Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent 2-4 years in a related customer service or policyholder services position Insurance experience a plus, but not required Excellent interpersonal relations and communication skills Proficient in computer and typing skills Brethren Mutual Insurance Company is committed to supporting employees both professionally and personally.
