401(k) Competitive salary Paid time off Training & development Full‑Time | In‑Office (Non‑Remote) Halethorpe / Baltimore, MD Ghanem Forwarding LLC is a growing freight forwarding and NVOCC company specializing in vehicle (RORO) and container shipping. We are looking for a Documentation Assistant / Operations Support team member to help scale our daily booking and documentation workload while supporting our existing documentation staff. This role is designed to grow into a more independent backup documentation position over time. Key Responsibilities Provide email and text-based customer support (phones come later in training) Assist documentation staff with data entry and booking support Learn and work within our internal data entry and documentation systems Support daily shipment bookings to help increase overall volume Help prepare and manage shipping documentation as assigned Follow established compliance and operational procedures Training & Growth Initial focus on email/text support and data accuracy Gradual expansion into more independent documentation responsibilities Hands-on learning with real shipments and live operations Opportunity to grow into a critical backup role for documentation staff Preferred (Not Required) Experience with RORO and/or container shipping Experience with U.S. Customs and/or ACE filing Freight forwarding, logistics, or export documentation background Lack of industry experience is okay if you are highly capable, detail-oriented, and motivated to learn. Required Qualifications Very strong computer skills and efficiency Comfortable working in Microsoft systems (Outlook, Excel, etc.) Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Able to follow procedures and handle multiple tasks daily Reliable, professional, and organized Comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment Work Environment Full-time role In-office only (non-remote) Fast-growing logistics company with real advancement opportunities Collaborative team environment with hands-on training Why Join Ghanem Forwarding?
