Job Description:
Dispatch / Customer Service Representative A leading supplier of pavers, retaining walls, natural and manufactured stone, bulk aggregates, and transportation services in the Baltimore, Washington D.C., and Northern Virginia area is seeking an experienced Dispatch / Customer Service Representative . We offer a competitive salary, health insurance, dental, and a 401(k) plan.
Key Responsibilities:
Schedule and dispatch home deliveries of palletized materials efficiently Review orders and optimize driver routes and productivity Provide excellent customer service to both internal teams and external clients Monitor and manage order accuracy, timeliness, and overall customer satisfaction Coordinate closely with drivers, sales, and yard teams Handle scale operations and support daily activities
Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of experience scheduling and dispatching home deliveries of palletized materials Minimum 2 years of customer service experience Strong map-reading and geographic knowledge of the Baltimore / D.C. / Northern Virginia region Solid understanding of landscaping and construction materials Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proficient in MS Office and FACTS software (or similar ERP system) Ability to thrive and multitask in a fast-paced environment Critical thinking and problem-solving skills If you are organized, customer-focused, and have a proven track record in dispatch and scheduling, we want to hear from you!
