Job Description

Account Director, Client Services The Account Director, Client Services plays a pivotal role on our Client Services team in our AudienceFirst Media (AFM) division. The AD is the key client relationship manager and focuses on the development and delivery of strategic program recommendations, research, and campaign planning/execution to drive new donor growth for our clients.

This is a full-time, hybrid position based out of our Lanham, MD office. US-based, remote candidates may be considered.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • Manage one or more Account Executives/Senior Account Executives.
  • Management responsibilities include motivating team members to achieve business objectives; management of staff to include hiring, performance evaluations and improvement planning, as needed; training, development, career advancement planning and mentoring of direct reports and other staff, as necessary. Responsible for identifying and acting on departmental training needs.
  • Provides support to team through skill development, results analysis, and feedback to enhance their ability to make smart decisions.
Your Impact:
  • Responsible for building and maintaining a strong relationship and trust with clients and agency partner(s).
  • Manages 5-7+ clients, depending on size, campaign frequency, and complexity.
  • Acts as key driver of client meetings/calls.
  • Continually monitors and interprets client results.
  • Analyzes variances in performance and comments on reasons for change.
  • Makes recommendations to optimize program performance based on results.
  • Oversees development and execution of client campaigns.
  • Develops client budgets and performance forecasts and reports on budget to actual results.
  • Develops and delivers quarterly and annual client performance reviews.
  • Monitors market factors and interprets impact on clients' programs.
  • Initiates thought leadership whitepapers, blog posts, and presentations.
  • Understands broader products and services with Moore companies and partners.
  • Oversees training and quality of team's work.
  • Performs other duties as required.
Your Profile:
  • At least 7 years of agency or client direct marketing fundraising experience.
  • A Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) or equivalent from an accredited college or university.
  • Advance knowledge of direct marketing performance metrics.
  • Strong project management and multi-tasking ability.
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of data processing/merge purge processes.
  • Good grasp of cooperative database modeling and segmentation.
  • Desire to manage people and supervise projects.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Effective presentation skills.
  • Proficient with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other Office software.
