EPITEC Now Hiring:
Client Technologies Specialist 1
Location:
Augusta, ME (100% Onsite)
Pay:
$30/hr I'm currently hiring for a Client Technologies Specialist 1 supporting the Office of Information Technology in Maine. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong desktop support experience who enjoys working hands-on in a fast-paced environment.
Contract:
July 1, 2026 - November 1, 2026 (possible extension)
Travel:
Local travel required (mileage reimbursed)
Top Skills:
Desktop support experience Strong communication (written & verbal) Inventory management experience Experience working with State of Maine (preferred)
What You'll Do:
Provide onsite desktop and technical support Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues Install, configure, and maintain computers and peripherals Support software upgrades, patches, and virus protection Manage inventory and lifecycle of IT equipment Coordinate new hardware/software installations Act as a point of contact for technology support and outages Assist with training, documentation, and system improvements
Requirements:
Candidates must be within 1 hour of Augusta, ME Must be comfortable using personal vehicle for local travel Background check + fingerprinting required #LI-VV1 INDPRO
