Work Location:
This is an onsite position at our Augusta, Maine office
Compensation:
$25 per hour Looking to earn more money in 2026? Transworld Systems Inc. is searching for ambitious Revenue Examiners. We partner with Maine Revenue Service to assist customers with payment plans and account resolution. We are the largest technology enabled provider of a complete suite of outsourcing solutions. Competitive hourly pay Comprehensive Paid Training Flexible schedule Full benefits (Health, dental, 401K) Supportive team environment No weekend work Responsibilities Communicating with consumers by telephone, and through written correspondence, to assist them with setting up payment plans and problem resolution to bring resolution to accounts Providing thorough, efficient, and accurate account updates on computer files for each call made or received Skip tracing to locate consumer contact information Complying with and staying up-to-date on all applicable Federal, State, and Local laws and regulations relating to job duties Complying with and staying up-to-date on all TSI policies and procedures Maintaining knowledge of functional areas, company policies, and procedures Providing feedback to management concerning possible problems or areas of improvement Making recommendations to implement improved processes Performing other duties as assigned by management Qualifications Bachelor's Degree from an accredited education institution - OR - four (4) years of equivalent post-secondary education, training, and/or professional level competency in accounting, tax collection, finance or directly related computer science, that demonstrates the ability to use independent judgement, initiative, and discretion to make decisions on complex matters Previous collection experience preferred Good critical thinking, analytical skills, strong attention to detail Proficient computer skills Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills High levels of ambition, keen to grow their career Experience with customer service, problem solving or just the motivation to learn a new skill A positive, friendly demeanor who finds joy in everyday Strong communication skills The ability to work and prioritize independently
