Job Overview Join our team as a Cashier/Customer Service Associate, where your energy and enthusiasm will create a welcoming environment for every customer. Duties Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately to process transactions swiftly and efficiently Greet customers warmly, answer questions, and assist with some merchandise retrieval Handle cash, credit card, and mobile payments with precision, ensuring proper cash handling and retail math calculations Maintain clean and organized checkout areas Provide excellent customer service by addressing concerns professionally and ensuring customer satisfaction Assist in light cleaning/organizing of the shop MUST be able to work both weekend days, 10am-5pm, with a more flexible mid-week schedule Experience Previous cashiering or retail sales experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate Strong communication skills are essential for engaging customers and collaborating with team members Familiarity with grocery store operations or retail environments will help you excel in this role Basic math skills are necessary for cash handling, POS transactions, and retail math calculations Experience in phone etiquette and customer service will support your success in creating positive interactions Embark on a rewarding journey where your enthusiasm makes a difference!
