Indian Motorcycle & Royal Enfield Dealership Our dealership proudly representing Indian Motorcycle and Royal Enfield is seeking a motivated, customer-focused Service Writer / Parts Sales Specialist to join our team. This is a dual-role position ideal for someone who understands motorcycles, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys helping riders enhance and maintain their machines. Position Overview The Service Writer / Parts Sales Specialist acts as the primary liaison between customers and the service department while also driving parts and accessory sales. You will write repair orders, communicate repair recommendations, and assist customers with parts, riding gear, and performance upgrades. This role requires strong communication skills, organization, and the ability to confidently recommend services and products that enhance the rider experience.
Key Responsibilities Service Writing:
Greet service customers and document repair concerns accurately Write and open repair orders with detailed notes Communicate technician findings and recommend repairs Provide estimates and obtain customer approvals Coordinate workflow between customers and technicians Maintain consistent follow-up and status updates Close repair orders and review completed work with customers
Parts & Accessories Sales:
Assist customers with parts, riding gear, and accessory needs Upsell performance upgrades and customization options Process parts orders and special orders Maintain organized inventory and showroom displays Support seasonal promotions and dealership events Qualifications Prior experience as a service writer, parts counter, or powersports/automotive advisor preferred Strong communication and customer service skills Sales-oriented mindset with ability to recommend upgrades Organized and detail-oriented Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Motorcycle knowledge strongly preferred Valid driver's license (motorcycle endorsement a plus) What We Offer Competitive pay (based on experience) Employee discounts on motorcycles, parts, and apparel Ongoing brand and product training Career growth opportunities within service or management A motorcycle-focused, team-driven work environment If you're passionate about motorcycles, enjoy working with riders, and have the drive to grow service and parts sales, we'd love to speak with you.
