Job Description

Join a dedicated team as a Customer Service Representative supporting customers with their steel processing requirements. This role is essential in ensuring customers receive timely, accurate, and high-quality service. The position offers the opportunity to work closely with production, quality, and scheduling teams, making a direct impact on customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. The company values professionalism, reliability, and a commitment to delivering the right product to the right customer, on time, every time. Responsibilities Receive and respond to customer inquiries and process purchase orders. Manage inventory levels for assigned customers to ensure timely fulfillment of orders. Complete and maintain accurate product specifications for each customer and part. Enter work orders and shipping releases into the management information system (MIS). Analyze and input material chemistries and physical properties according to customer specifications. Communicate regularly with customers via email and phone to provide updates and resolve issues. Update and maintain customer-requested documents and enter information into customer portals as required. Coordinate product trials and changes with customers, quality, and production scheduling teams. Analyze information from customer portals to support decision-making and service delivery. Forecast material needs based on customer requirements. Complete assigned projects as needed. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. Proficiency with computers, including database management, word processing, and spreadsheets. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively. Sales experience and college coursework are a plus, but not required. Experience and License Requirements Inventory Management
