We're seeking a Patient Care Coordinator (Medical Receptionist) to be the welcoming first point of contact for patients in our growing Orthotics and Prosthetics practice. If you thrive in a fast-paced, people-focused environment and enjoy making an impact every day, we'd love to meet you! 🩺 What You'll Do As a key member of our front office team, you'll combine administrative expertise with exceptional customer service , including: 📞 Managing a high volume of incoming and outgoing calls related to patients' medical equipment and supply needs 🧾 Verifying insurance coverage and clearly explaining patient eligibility and potential costs 🗂 Maintaining patient accounts by accurately collecting, recording, and updating personal and financial information 🤝 Communicating with caregivers, physicians, insurance companies, and outside providers regarding patient accounts and product needs 📄 Creating and following up on documentation to ensure all required records are complete and on file ✅ What We're Looking For Experience in medical reception , patient coordination, or healthcare customer service Comfort handling high call volumes and sensitive patient information Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail Insurance verification experience is a plus 💙
