Job Description
This employee communicates with customers for the purposes of answering questions, resolving problems, determiningongoing and additional product/service needs, and supporting compliance to physician direction.
JOB FUNCTIONS
Communicates with customers via inbound and outbound manual calls and outbound calls generated via automated dialer systemAssesses customer need for additional products/servicesAssesses customer compliance with physician ordersAnswers questions and provides customer education regarding products/servicesDocuments calls in computerized record keeping systemEnters customer orders in computerized systemVerifies and updates demographic information such as address and telephone number in computerized recordsRead and analyze documents such as patient ordersComprehend pharmacy prescription terminologyEffectively communicate with coworkers and patients alikehelp with the training of employeescalculate figures and amounts in reference to frequency and doses dispensedapply common sense understanding to carry out oral and written instructions
Education & Experience:
High SchoolDiploma, General Education Diploma (GED), or one to three months related experience and/or trainingComputer entry RequiredMust meet any licensing requirementsnecessary for specific location
Physical Demands:
