Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Customer Service Representative to provide exceptional service in our supply department to our phone and walk-in customers. This role is critical for managing relationships, ensuring their satisfaction, and fostering positive experiences. The ideal candidate will excel in a fast-paced, transactional environment, displaying a commitment to service excellence and effective problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service and Support:
Provide high-quality customer service to house accounts and walk-in customers, ensuring their needs and inquiries are addressed promptly and efficiently. Handle customer service inquiries providing accurate information and solutions to problems.
Sales Support and Transaction Processing:
Assist customers with transactions, orders, and purchases, ensuring a smooth and satisfactory experience. Supporting the customer experience in partnership with the branch as needed. Capture potential quantity discount upsell opportunities during customer interactions.
Customer Relationship Management:
Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, ensuring repeat business and customer loyalty. Solicit and record customer feedback, sharing insights with the sales and product teams to improve services and offerings.
Record Keeping and Administration:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records in the Customer Relationship Management system. Prepare and manage documentation related to customer accounts and transactions.
Requirements:
Proven experience in customer service, sales, or a related field. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Commitment to delivering high levels of customer service and satisfaction. Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work in a fast-paced environment. Experience in Customer Relationship Management systems, Point of Sale systems, and Microsoft Office Suite a plus. High school diploma or equivalent.
