Customer Service Representative Reports to:Supply Chain Manager Job Purpose:
Exercise a customer-first attitude in managing the day-to-day transactions and communications with our customers and our suppliersKey Responsibilities:
- Embrace interfacing with customers and suppliers by facilitating relationships, resolving issues, and create memorable experiences that boost brand and customer loyalty
- Offer an unparalleled level of service through the use of excellent follow up, friendly tones, and going the extra mile
- Coordinate the needs and capabilities of our customers, suppliers, carriers, and operations
- Utilize an engaging balance of written and verbal communication with customers and suppliers and listen for and then appropriately relay concerns and opportunities back to the TFC Team
- Understand, employ, and give feedback to Purchasing and Sales on the market strategies implemented
- Communicate logistical changes with production, warehouse, and supply chain
- Take ownership in customer issues by identifying the appropriate response and strategy to solve as quickly as possible with a customer-first attitude
- Manage purchase orders and sales orders based upon the production schedule and enter into MRP/ERP
- Back up and assist Supply Chain by booking carriers, creating appointments, and monitoring potential freight concerns
- Carry out other administrative tasks as needed
- Promote personal and company image throughout the community
