Overview:
The Client Care Advisor at Home Instead plays a critical role in driving business growth while ensuring families receive compassionate, high-quality care solutions. This position is a consultative sales role focused on building relationships, understanding client needs, and guiding families through the decision-making process for in-home care services. Client Care Advisors serve as the first point of contact for prospective clients, responding to inquiries, conducting needs assessments, and presenting customized care plans that align with each family's unique situation. Success in this role requires strong communication skills, empathy, and the ability to confidently articulate the value of Home Instead's services. This role blends relationship-building with performance-driven sales goals, requiring consistent follow-up, effective pipeline management, and a strong focus on converting inquiries into ongoing client relationships. The ideal candidate is motivated, compassionate, and results-oriented—someone who can balance achieving sales targets with delivering an exceptional client experience. By building trust and providing thoughtful guidance, the Client Care Advisor helps families make informed care decisions while contributing to the overall growth and success of the Home Instead franchise.
Responsibilities:
Respond promptly to inbound inquiries from prospective clients and their families via phone, email, and web leads Conduct thorough needs assessments to understand each client's care requirements, preferences, and timeline Present and explain Home Instead services, clearly articulating value and appropriate care solutions Develop and recommend personalized care plans that align with client needs and budgets Guide families through the decision-making and onboarding process with empathy and professionalism Follow up consistently with leads to build trust and convert inquiries into active clients Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the CRM system, including lead status, notes, and next steps Manage a sales pipeline, prioritizing opportunities and tracking progress toward conversion goals Collaborate with internal care coordination and operations teams to ensure a smooth transition from inquiry to service start Meet or exceed individual sales and conversion targets Provide an exceptional client experience by maintaining clear communication and responsiveness throughout the process Stay knowledgeable about Home Instead services, pricing, and industry trends to effectively support clients
Qualifications:
Proven experience in sales, customer service, or a consultative, client-facing role (healthcare or senior care experience preferred) Demonstrated ability to build rapport, establish trust, and effectively close sales Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage compassionately with clients and families Results-driven mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales or performance goals Excellent listening and problem-solving skills to assess client needs and recommend appropriate solutions Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple leads, follow-ups, and priorities simultaneously Experience using CRM systems or similar tools to track leads and manage a sales pipeline Ability to handle sensitive conversations with empathy, professionalism, and discretion Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer systems Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience preferred Join us to be part of a compassionate and purpose-driven team dedicated to delivering outstanding care to seniors and their families.
