Customer Service Representative Job Description Akralos Animal Nutrition provides a full range of innovative, research-based animal feed and nutrition products. Our customers include meat, milk and egg producers as well as those with specialty and companion animals. Our goal is to provide customers with products and solutions that will improve their profitability and competitive advantage, while reducing risk and simplifying their lives. We are currently seeking qualified candidates for a full-time Customer Service Representative position at our Mankato, MN office.
Primary Responsibilities:
Support:
Is helpful. Delivers exceptional customer service to our Feed customers and internal stakeholders including sales, manufacturing, logistics, pricing, and quality, etc.
Order Management:
Supports multiple shipping locations and manufacturing plants. Manages error-free orders from creation through delivery utilizing Microsoft D365 applications system.
Complaint Resolution:
Provides timely and appropriate responses to customer complaints and issues regarding sales orders.
Inquiries:
Demonstrates a sense of urgency and responsiveness to all inquiries, voicemails, emails pertaining to sales orders, product availability, pricing, invoices, and other.
Communication:
Delivers a pleasant experience in both voice and written communication. Approaches customer interactions with patience, empathy, and a cheerful outlook.
Product Knowledge:
Communicates accurate information about products, availability, pricing, and location policies.
Relationship Building:
Builds strong relationships with customers, sales, team members, and supporting multiple locations to strengthen customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Other:
Works on miscellaneous projects as directed by manager. Successfully transacts all department related activities including sales orders of all types, credits, rebills, invoices, and other. Provides back up to others across locations as needed.
Work Hours:
40 hours/week. M-F. Hours are dependent on current business needs: 8:00 am
- 5:00 pm; 8:30 am
- 5:30 pm; 9:00 am
- 6:00 pm CT.
Qualifications and Skills To be successful in this role, team members should possess the following: 2-5 years demonstrated success working in Customer Service, preferably in manufacturing organizations. Prior experience entering and managing sales orders in an Enterprise Resource Planning system (ERP) such as Microsoft D365, Oracle JD Edwards, SAP, or equivalent. Is open to change, naturally curious, and is comfortable working "in the grey." Microsoft Office 365 Suite experience including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote, OneDrive, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and Copilot.

Ability to see the big picture; using sound reasoning and judgment to work through problems. Prioritizes work effectively while managing multiple tasks to meet business needs. Education Required:
High school diploma.
Highly Preferred:

- or 4-year degree in business, communications, or an Ag related field.
