Job Description
We are hiring a responsible, trustworthy individual to join our team as a full-time Customer Service Representative specializing in medical records support. We are seeking someone who is reliable and committed to showing up consistently and working full-time hours. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of customer service experience, strong computer and data entry skills, and the ability to communicate professionally via phone and email. Candidates should be comfortable using phones, fax machines, printers, and other general office equipment. This role involves working closely with Medical Records custodians (copy services) to request and manage medical records while maintaining strict confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform high-volume outbound calls (70-80+ per day) to healthcare facilities Retrieve medical records by contacting providers and following up on requests Fax medical authorizations and track request progress Accurately document all communication and updates in the company database Handle and protect confidential client information in compliance with privacy standards Complete data entry tasks related to medical record requests (initial and ongoing) Maintain organized records and workflows while managing multiple tasks This position is Monday to Thursday (8AM-5PM with two 15 minute breaks and one 20 minute paid lunch) and Friday (8AM-12PM with one 15 minute break).
