RETAIL CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE - THIEF RIVER FALLS STORE LOCATION

Garden Valley Technologies, a leading technology provider, is seeking a motivated individual to fill a part-time, fully benefited Retail Customer Service Representative reporting to our Thief River Falls Store. This position will generally be scheduled 10:00am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday, depending on store coverage and the Company's requirements. This position may periodically work 8:00am-4:30pm or 8:30am to 5:00pm shifts, or fill in at our other retail store locations, depending on store coverage requirements.

Hourly compensation:

Deliver an excellent customer service experience to every customer, at the retail store or over the phone, at all times. Answer questions or concerns and educate customers on all GVT products and services. Promote, sell, and upsell Garden Valley services to new and existing customers, including sales and service of GV cellular, and with an emphasis on security products and video services. Assist customers with new service requests, service changes, billing questions and concerns, and handle all equipment returns. Perform troubleshooting steps for applicable products and services, use trouble ticket functions, and dispatch issues to appropriate personnel when necessary. Process payments, post payments to the appropriate accounts, and issue receipts 2. Accurately complete applicable paperwork and computer functions relating to service requests, changes, billing inquiries, and troubles. 3. Prioritize and perform courtesy calls to subscribers, other work assignments, and special projects. 4. Maintain a cash drawer, make daily deposits, and run various related reports. 5. Assist with store inventory stocking and display, order tracking, and other related tasks, as assigned. 6. Use a multi-line telephone system, computer, and other technology necessary in performing all job functions. 7. Work at a minimum of one Company-sponsored event each year (customer appreciation days, special events, and fairs). ### Minimum Education Required High School Diploma ###

Minimum Experience Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Preference may be given to an applicant: 1. With strong knowledge of billing and service software and their applications, as well as Excel, Word, and Outlook. 2. With knowledge of Garden Valley's products and services. 3. With strong customer service and sales skills, leadership qualities, and a desire to learn. 4. Who demonstrates high-level attention to detail and confidentiality. 5. With prior sales and customer service experience.

Must have:

1. Proficient customer service skills, in-person and over the phone, and effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with co-workers, members, customers, business contacts, and the public in a professional, helpful, and cheerful manner. 2. The ability to work independently, and as a team player, making sound decisions using the information at hand. 3. The ability to pay close attention to detail and maintain confidentiality. 4. Strong organizational and time management skills, along with neat and orderly work habits. 5. Mathematical and analytical skills and knowledge. 6. Proficiency in operating computers, iPads, smartphones, various software packages, and other technology. 7. The ability, willingness, and flexibility (without advance notice) to work any hours and shifts required by the Company. 8. The ability and willingness to freely share job knowledge with other employees. 9.
