Client Device Support Technician - Wayzata, MN If you''ve worked at Geek Squad, Best Buy, uBreakiFix, Asurion, Apple Genius Bar, Micro Center, Staples Tech Services, Office Depot Tech Services, CPR Cell Phone Repair, or a similar technical support environment, this role could be a strong next step into corporate IT. We''re looking for a hands-on technical support professional to provide face-to-face support in a walk-up technology support center. This position focuses on helping users solve hardware, software, account access, and device-related issues while delivering a high-quality customer experience. What You''ll Do Provide walk-up technical support for employees Troubleshoot Windows, macOS, and mobile device issues Diagnose hardware, software, and peripheral problems Configure and deploy laptops, monitors, headsets, and related equipment Assist users with Microsoft 365, Outlook, Teams, and productivity tools Support device refreshes, imaging, and inventory management Escalate complex technical issues when necessary Deliver exceptional customer service in a high-visibility support environment Ideal Background Experience from any of the following environments is highly relevant: Geek Squad Best Buy uBreakiFix Asurion Apple Genius Bar Micro Center Service Department Staples Tech Services Office Depot Tech Services CPR Cell Phone Repair Desktop Support Help Desk Technical Support What We''re Looking For Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Experience supporting Windows devices and Microsoft applications Ability to communicate technical issues in simple, user-friendly terms Comfortable working directly with users throughout the day Strong customer service mindset Experience supporting PC, laptop, mobile, or peripheral devices Why This Role This position offers the opportunity to move beyond traditional retail technical support and gain experience in a large corporate environment while continuing to do what you already do best: solving technical problems and helping people.
