Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and friendly Cashier/Customer Service professional to join our retail team. In this role, you will be the welcoming face of our store, providing exceptional service to customers while efficiently handling transactions. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will ensure a positive shopping experience, foster customer loyalty, and support the overall success of our store operations. Whether assisting with product inquiries, conducting product demos, or managing the cash register, your proactive approach will help create a lively and engaging environment for shoppers. Responsibilities Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process transactions swiftly and securely Greet customers warmly, answer questions, and provide product information or demos as needed Manage cash handling procedures with precision, including cash, credit card, and mobile payments Assist with merchandising tasks such as stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring products are well-presented Maintain excellent phone etiquette when responding to customer inquiries via phone or online channels Support inventory management by participating in restocking and ensuring shelves are replenished promptly Provide outstanding customer service by addressing concerns professionally and courteously Qualifications Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred; supervisory experience is a plus Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively in both bilingual environments (English and another language) Familiarity with POS systems and basic math skills for handling transactions accurately Knowledge of grocery store operations or retail environments is advantageous Ability to perform merchandising, stocking, and product demos confidently Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills with a positive attitude Demonstrated upselling skills to maximize sales opportunities Basic understanding of retail math for balancing registers and managing cash handling procedures Join our team and bring your enthusiasm for retail sales and customer service to life!
