Service Writer / Assistant Production Manager

Village Marina is Hiring - Join Our Team! Village Marina is seeking an experienced and motivated individual to join our team! We are excited to announce the opening of our brand-new Service Center, featuring a fully equipped service shop and a modern office structure for our staff. This is more than just a job—it's an opportunity to build a meaningful career in the marine industry.

Ideal Candidate:

Knowledge of the marine industry is preferred, but we are also willing to train the right candidate. A passion for boats and boating, with a positive attitude and strong understanding of boat systems, is a major plus.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage service technicians to ensure company goals and deadlines are met. Create work orders based on customer concerns or requests, accurately documenting problems to ensure proper resolution. Schedule and track all service and repair activities. Advise customers on products and services that enhance their boating experience. Maintain parts inventory and order supplies as needed. Prepare estimates and invoices using Marina Software. Build and maintain relationships with vendors. Assist marine technicians with repairs and parts research as needed.
