Job Description

The focus of this position is working with and through others, building and maintaining relationships and working closely and accurately within established guidelines. This position will be responsible for ensuring client satisfaction and retention through customer contact and engagement. The candidate is working with the internal purchasing and warehouse team to follow up on all open orders statuses as well as working with the company's customers to ensure all their needs are met. The Customer Support Representative must be able an effectively communicator, someone who is able to stimulate and motivate others while being aware of and responsive to their needs and concerns.
Responsibilities:
Establish lasting relationships with customers built upon respect, diligence and care. Follow established company guidelines and procedures to guide decision-making. Retain existing and new customers within the assigned client base using a consultative sales approach. Provide problem solving for customer issues. Outbound calling to follow up with clients on P.O.s, confirmations, payments, etc. Enter and process sales orders, maintain updated inventory reports. Maintain and update existing inventory reports and customer data, including contact information, product information, delivery statuses within Google work applications and other tracking systems. Pull reports as needed in order to analyze customer use, buying patterns, etc. Reconcile freight bills with invoices.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent required. 1-2 years of relevant customer service related-work. Able to work in a fast-paced environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; demonstrate the ability to interact with different levels of customer contacts and internal personnel. Ability to manage time effectively, be organized and maintain attention to details. Tactful problem resolutions skills and ability to analyze causes. Proficient computer skills include ability to use/learn: Google Apps for Business, QuickBooks Freight and/or manufacturing knowledge, or experience, a STRONG plus.
